Singapore: SG Arrival Card (SGAC), not a visa
The SG Arrival Card (SGAC) is a free, mandatory arrival and health declaration for travellers to Singapore, run by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA). It is separate from any visa requirement.
Who needs it
Almost all travellers entering Singapore, regardless of nationality, with limited exemptions such as those transiting without clearing immigration, and Singapore residents using certain land checkpoints.
Key facts
- Submit within 3 days before arrival, including the day of arrival itself.
- It can be done through the ICA's e-service website or the official MyICA mobile app, both free.
- If your nationality requires a separate visa for Singapore, that is a different process and still needed in addition to the SGAC.
Watch out for
ICA has specifically warned that it does not support or endorse any commercial service charging a fee to submit the SGAC, since the official channels are free.
Before you pay
