Azerbaijan: ASAN Visa (e-visa)
Azerbaijan's ASAN Visa e-visa system is run by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovation, under the authority of the President of Azerbaijan.
Who needs it
Nationals of the countries on Azerbaijan's eligible list, which is maintained by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If your country is not listed, you apply at the nearest Azerbaijani diplomatic mission instead.
Key facts
- A standard e-visa costs US$20 (about US$23 with the service charge), issued within 3 working days, valid for single entry and a 30-day stay within a 90-day window.
- An urgent service is available for US$50-60, issued within about 3 hours, including on holidays and weekends.
- Azerbaijani embassies state plainly that there is only one official address for issuing the e-visa.
Watch out for
Multiple Azerbaijani embassy pages independently repeat the same official portal address, which is a good sign of consistency; be cautious of any other site offering faster or guaranteed approval.
Before you pay
Check that the address matches the link above, confirm the amount on the portal, and never pay a site that adds a large service fee. Our guide to spotting fake visa websites explains the warning signs, and the FAQ covers common questions.
This page is a summary for general information and can go out of date, and exemptions depend on your own nationality, so always confirm on the official portal. See our disclaimer.
